On 5^th March and 30^th April 2022 an “ART EDUCATION” activity was conducted on the topic, Introduction to Naga Folk songs- and cultural songs. (Genre – Kentula Ken). Students from class VI to X participated and learnt about the importance of one’s own culture.

• Identity through folk songs traditional music.
• Students were also taught on the classification of Ao Naga Music, such as Mongsen Ken, Kentula Ken Yimdong Ken and Acha Ken.
• Students were also taught a cultural children song which falls under the genre of Kentula Ken of the Ao Naga tribe.
• Students were also taught on the classification of Ao Naga Music such as Masem Ken, Kentula Ken, Yimdong Ken and Aja/Acha Ken.

On 20^th and 21^st May 2022 all the students of class IX and X were taught “Basket Making” using Bamboo threads.

On 7^th October 2022 the students of class IX and X who are also members of the Eco Club of our school visited the school Herbal Garden as a part of work education. They got the opportunity to learn about the importance of medicinal plants and learn about the work culture and the benefits of gardening. The Teachers in charge took the students with necessary tools for cleaning up the weeds and fertilizing the medicinal plants in and around the garden. The students also experienced first – hand practical observation of medicinal plants and their usages.
