Under the Establishment of Directorate of the Fire and Emergency Services, Nagaland, Kohima, Mr Bumo Hayong, ASI, along with his crew visited Ladybird School on 28th October 2022.
Mock fire drills and demonstrations were executed for the entire school to create awareness and preparedness during calamities. The students were trained to be alert, quick and responsible, follow instructions, maintain calm and avoid panic to avert stampede and casualties. Importance on fire drill procedures, step-by-step evacuation plan, identifying different types of fire extinguishers and their usage were offered.
