The Scout Master, Mr. Imkongchiba of Ladybird school underwent and successfully completed the seven days Advance Course Training conducted by the Nagaland State Bharat Scouts and Guides at the State Training Centre, Nerhema, Kohima from 12^th May to 18^th May 2026.

            The course consisted of testing camp and how to invest Dwitiya Sopan, Tritiya Sopan and Raja Puruskar. The training was more focus on practical skills basing on the motto ‘Learn by doing’.

            Following are the courses/lessons conducted:

(i)             Advance Knotting

(ii)            Pioneering Project (Building a watch tower)

(iii)          First Aid – Bandaging, CPR

(iv)           Basic First-responder (making stretcher)

(v)            Drill

(vi)           How to conduct PB six exercises

(vii)         Overnight Camping with basic tools and equipment

(viii)        Self- learning modules were shared to the trainees through email/WhatsApp

The course is being organized to upgrade the skills of Scout Masters for higher responsibilities to enable them to effectively train Scouts in achieving their advancements to higher levels, of their Scouts to Tritiya Sopan and beyond.
